First-stay visit.

A short hello visit before their first stay, so your dog or cat can meet us, sniff around and see where they’ll sleep.

About this stay.

Every new guest starts with a hello visit. It’s a short, relaxed visit to our little home before their first night, so the place, the smells and the people aren’t brand new on the day you go away.

You come along too. We show you both around, talk through their routine and answer any questions you have. Dogs usually have a sniff around the garden, cats can stay in their carrier and just have a look if that’s easier.

If the visit shows us that a stay might not suit your pet, we’ll tell you honestly and talk through what might work better.

Why we start with a visit.

A hello visit makes the first night much easier for everyone. Your pet has already smelled the place, met the people and seen where they’ll sleep. You’ve seen it too, and asked everything you wanted to ask.

It also helps us. We get to meet your pet before they stay, see how they react to a new place and make a plan that suits them from the very first hour.

What we’ll ask you

  1. What kind of stay you’re planning
  2. How they usually cope with new places
  3. Their routine at home
  4. The dates you have in mind

Bring along.

  • Their lead or carrier
  • A few of their favorite treats
