Arrive at the agreed time
We agree drop-off and pickup times with you before the stay. Arriving on time means we can give your pet our full attention when they walk in.
Walk them first
A good walk before drop-off helps dogs arrive relaxed. For cats, keep the morning quiet and have them in their carrier before you leave home.
Keep goodbyes short
A quick, cheerful goodbye is kinder than a long one. Pets pick up on our nerves, so smile, hand over the lead and let them get exploring.
Someone else collecting?
Tell us their name and phone number before the day. We only hand your pet to the person you’ve named.
Settling back at home
Lots of pets are sleepy for a day or so after a stay. Give them a quiet evening, their usual dinner and an early night.
Your next conversation
Tell us who’s staying, the dates you have in mind and how their day usually goes, or call us on (202) 555-0113. We’ll plan their stay with you.
